This full-time opportunity will offer the option to work at two office locations, depending on which is more suitable for you. They offer flexible working conditions including some WFH days optional.
Key Responsibilities: - Estate Administration: Prepare Probate and Letters of Administration applications, manage estate administration, manage life estates, and prepare Deeds of Family Arrangement.
- Estate Planning: Conduct client meetings, draft complex Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and medical treatment decision-maker appointments, and manage Superannuation death benefit nominations and advance care directives.
- Estate Litigation and VCAT Administration: Provide legal advice, draft legal and court documents, liaise with counsel, appear at hearings, and supervise paralegals and law clerks.
You will work closely with an experienced Special Counsel and collaborate with Accredited Specialists, Junior Lawyers, Senior Associates, and Consultants. You will also be part of a broader team of Probate Clerks, Paralegals, and Legal Assistants. The role also offers the chance to develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
