The Opportunity Due to growing their firm, they have multiple roles to fill. They are seeking both a Graduate Accountant and an Intermediate Accountant to join their collaborative and dynamic team.
Graduate Accountant Your role will include:
- Collaborating with the team to prepare financial statements for various entities, including companies, partnerships, trusts, and superannuation funds.
- Preparing tax returns for both businesses and individuals.
- Assisting in the preparation and lodgement of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
- Contributing to budget creation and management reporting for clients.
- Supporting clients with technology and accounting systems, helping them achieve their financial goals.
- Being a key player in providing advice on business and financial matters.
About you:
- You're meticulous, motivated, and eager to take on new challenges.
- You thrive in collaborative settings but also work well independently.
- You communicate clearly and embrace opportunities for growth.
Intermediate Accountant Your role will include:
- Dive into diverse industries helping clients navigate the complexities of tax and financial reporting.
- Work closely with partners on exciting high-level projects that go beyond traditional compliance work.
- Get hands-on with monthly reconciliations & advisory services across cutting-edge online platforms.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team that values creativity and innovation.
About you:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting firm.
- CA qualified or currently studying towards it.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills that make you stand out.
- Experience with platforms like Xero, MYOB, or Fathom is a plus.
- Passion for working with SMEs and family groups, with turnovers above $10m.
- A tech-savvy mindset and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with ease.
