The Role Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and provide full compliance as well as value added advisory services
- Achieve and maintain team budgets and deadlines via effective workflow management
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff and provide guidance and training
- Analyse and review financial statements, prepare budgets, and cash flow projections, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance
- Review and advise on management accounting reporting packs for your portfolio and have regular meetings with clients to discuss
- Identify, research and resolve complex accounting issues
- Keep up to date with changes in accounting and tax laws, regulation and standards to ensure clients remain compliant and informed
- Act as trusted advisor to key stakeholders (business owner, CEO & CFO) within your clients’ businesses.
About You - 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with demonstrated experience in a leadership or mentoring role
- CA or CPA qualified with a relevant degree in Accounting
- Ability to project manage with a goal orientated approach
- Client focused
- Excellent management and supervisory skills
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
